i cant stop spending

why is it that spending money on things makes you feel better? I know that the root of all evil is in material possessions but it just feels so good treating yourself when you spend your own money. money that takes so long too make but so quick to spend!
Trying to save up and go on a trip too India at the end of the year rathe than just blowing it on randoms. so need to get back in touch with the jew inside me and stop the wasting! Wish me luck
