crunch time!

ah no! its that time of the year again when sleepless nights are required to get all my work together! i thrive off pressure so this is my time to shine! who needs sleep anyway! just wish my computer hadn't gotten stolen! would love to be able to work at home!

some recent work i've been trying to finish

Here's a finished painting i di for my sister! basically incouraging her to embrace the world, spread her wings and fly! There are small butterflies which start by the word wings and they can be seen in reflected light.

hERE's a little taste of some paintings i've been working on. should be finished in another day or two. painted with aclrylics and oil based paints and only has full details which seen under a light. each painting has lots of details which only show up under the reflection of light

new tissues for the masses

well brief no 3 of the year has been passed onto us. need to redesign packaging for a tissue dispenser. Don't have any great ideas yet but will start going through the whole process and see what i come up with

i cant stop spending

why is it that spending money on things makes you feel better? I know that the root of all evil is in material possessions but it just feels so good treating yourself when you spend your own money. money that takes so long too make but so quick to spend!

Trying to save up and go on a trip too India at the end of the year rathe than just blowing it on randoms. so need to get back in touch with the jew inside me and stop the wasting! Wish me luck

found a suitable slogan for my 3 post cards! " I am because we are and we are because i am. " it was written by an African philosopher and sums up what Ubuntu really means. So gonna incorporate this into my concept to promote township life within South Africa.

slave driving

working on a new project promoting South Africa around the world cup! Seems like the world cup fever has really started to kick in as all our projects are being based around it! Decided to bring up the issue of poverty in townships and yet how materials are recycled to create beautiful, colourful houses! some of the houses really are special and set in some of the most amazing landscapes! so watch this space as will keep you posted on how the project develops and turns out!
